Hi! I’m Nic Symes, a logo and brand identity designer plying my trade for clients all over the world from my home studio in Johannesburg, South Africa.

With 16 years’ experience in the advertising, public relations and design industries, I've worked on various above- and below-the-line campaigns for local and international clients across the technology, banking, textiles, healthcare, entertainment, agriculture and automotive sectors.

I've shouted about digital transformation with Microsoft, helped Absa reshape their public image through their rebranding, sold vehicles with Nissan, and promoted responsible attitudes to drinking and driving with Jameson and Uber.

I create and curate the brands of clients across various sectors – from Eastern Cape sheep farmers to London tech startups – staunchly supported by my loving partner, Bridget, her son, Corey, and our menagerie of lunatic animals.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me playing tennis or walking my rescued Staffie/Malinois mix, June, along Johannesburg's beautiful Braamfontein Spruit. If you can’t find me, I’ve most likely escaped to my native KwaZulu-Natal Midlands to scratch my fly fishing itch.

If you feel your business needs to level up, or you’re an upstart startup, get in touch so we can give your brand a face, voice and personality that your clients will grow to trust, respect and love.
